Six lucky Japanese patterns
A set of six palm-sized mamezara plates with indigo patterns on white. Each one has a traditional Japanese pattern with a lucky meaning: tako-karakusa vines, tokusa stripes, amime nets, shippo circles, asanoha hemp leaves and a mixed design.
They're Mino ware from Gifu Prefecture, about 9.8cm across, and just right for pickles, condiments, soy sauce or a small sweet. Line them up and your table instantly looks more festive.
Why we like it
6 traditional Japanese patterns, each with a lucky meaning.
About 9.8cm across, right for soy sauce, condiments or a small sweet.
White and indigo go with both Japanese and Western food.
